A meeting was held with representatives of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) at the Entrepreneurship Development Fund (EDF) of the Ministry of Economy.

The Fund's approach to climate issues in the process of financing micro, small and medium enterprises was presented at the meeting held within the framework of ADB's "Technical support for improving management and efficiency in the public sector" program. Eldar Hamidov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of EDF, said that the Fund promotes the activity of micro, small and medium business entities in this direction by financing the "green" projects of entrepreneurs operating in Azerbaijan on preferential terms.

Also, ADB's recommendations regarding the consideration of climate issues and impact measurement in the financing of businesses were brought to attention, and opportunities for cooperation were discussed.
