PRIORITY DIRECTIONS

The following priority directions for economic regions have been determined in connection with the implementation of the tasks arising from paragraph 4.9.13 of the Charter of the Entrepreneurship Development Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan "Determining priority directions for economic sectors and economic regions for the purpose of efficient deployment of the Fund's funds":

Absheron-Khizi economic region (Absheron, Khizi, Sumgait)

- Creation or expansion of production, processing and service areas provided for in decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, state programs, decisions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

- creation of processing enterprises in the agricultural sector and modernization or expansion of existing processing enterprises; 

- creation or expansion of agricultural parks and farms;

- creation or expansion of breeding and poultry complexes for meat and dairy;

- creation or expansion of agriculture, intensive horticulture and seed-seedling farms with the application of modern irrigation systems and other modern technologies;

- supporting tourism development projects;

- establishment of meat slaughtering enterprises;

- logistic service (transportation of food and non-food products, as well as projects related to the creation, renewal and expansion of parks related to transportation);

- supporting projects aimed at creating warehouse complexes;

- creation or expansion of enterprises in the fields of production and processing (light, food, chemical, machine-building industry, etc.) based on modern technologies;

- supporting digital development and innovation-oriented projects;

- supporting fishing and aquaculture oriented projects;

Central Aran economic region (Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Goychay, Agdash, Ujar, Zardab, Kurdamir)

- Creation or expansion of production, processing and service areas provided for in decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, state programs, decisions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

- creation of processing enterprises in the agricultural sector and modernization or expansion of existing processing enterprises; 

- creation or expansion of agricultural parks and farms;

- creation or expansion of breeding cattle and other breeding complexes for meat and dairy;

- creation or expansion of agriculture, intensive horticulture and seed-seedling farms with the application of modern irrigation systems and other modern technologies;

- creation or expansion of dried and frozen fruit and vegetable production, fodder and meat slaughtering enterprises;

- establishment of cotton growing, paddy growing, cocoon growing and grape growing farms;

- creation or expansion of berry drying, agricultural products supply points;

- supporting tourism development projects;

- logistic service (transportation of food and non-food products, as well as projects related to the creation, renewal and expansion of parks related to transportation);

- supporting projects aimed at creating warehouse complexes;

Mil-Mugan economic district (Beylagan, Imishli, Saatli, Sabirabad)

- Creation or expansion of production, processing and service areas provided for in decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, state programs, decisions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan;

- creation of processing enterprises in the agricultural sector and modernization or expansion of existing processing enterprises;

 Shirvan-Salyan economic region (Hajigabul, Shirvan, Salyan, Bilasuvar, Neftchala)

- creation of processing enterprises in the agricultural sector and modernization or expansion of existing processing enterprises;

- supporting start-up projects;

- establishment or expansion of grain storage complex, green market and farmer's shops
